Our story
find a space to share
Our own experience with battling to get our children the right support led us to create MatchMe Therapy. We know the parental angst of being told there is ‘something wrong’ with your child. We know the confusion of having your child passed around from one expert to the next but with no clarity or road-map. In the process, we’ve learnt what’s helped and what’s hindered. Our goal is to guide you towards trusted tools and support while saving you time, money and grey hairs.
There is kindness and hope in clarity.
"The sooner the better"
We believe that early intervention is key.
There is rarely a simple, one-size-fits-all answer to our human problems. Yet the sooner we can get clearer guidance and access to the right support the better for everyone. Uncertainty and ‘not knowing’ heighten fear, anxiety and dysregulation creating further problems that may mask the root cause. We advocate for support that helps everyone involved stay calm.
Our Team
Meet our motley crew of parents, specialists and advisors. We’ve been on the frontline of learning and behavioural struggles, at home and in the classroom. We’ve looked chaos in the face and found ways to navigate the blurry intersection between ‘normality’ and ‘neurodiverse’.

Amy Grant
Connecting adults across government departments and helping kids connect the dots are some of Amy’s many gifts. She is an experienced Speech Therapist working with MatchMe to test and vet the diagnostic tools and resources available. There is no learning challenge Amy can’t handle, especially not once she’s got her ‘Gelish’ on. Nails and baking are her ‘mindful’ pleasures.
Sarah Jervis
The spirit of seeking adventure, and a regular electricity supply, led Sarah from Cape Town to Wokingham in England. As an Educational Psychologist, she works with individuals, schools and families to ensure learners have the resources to reach their potential. She is a passionate learner herself. Except for when it comes to directions. Getting lost on runs is a regular occurrence.

MatchMe Therapy is on a mission to help families. We’re just getting started so please get in touch if you want to learn more about what we want to do and how we hope to do it.
What is MatchMe Therapy?
MatchMe Therapy was created from a desire to help families access co-ordinated and trusted support. Our own experience helped us identify a gap in the early detection of childhood learning barriers. At MatchMe, the goal is to resource families, practitioners and schools with the information and tools needed to screen for cognitive challenges. Matching your child to the right practitioners is made easy by our unique MatchMe algorithm.
Life as a parent is never easy. When your child is struggling it’s twice as hard. Let us take the mess out of finding good help.
